Analysis of the dynamic mechanical properties of bornite under Hopkinson test

Abstract
In order to study the dynamic mechanical properties of bornite under different impact loads, the impact tests of bornite are carried out by Hopkinson test.The analysis results show that the average strain rate of bornite had a strong correlation with impact loads, and the polynomial fitting relationship between them is obvious.Under the impact load, the stress-strain curve can be divided into four stages:crack closure stage, stable expansion stage of elastic fracture, nonlinear elastic deformation stage and final failure stage.There is a uniform and moderate impact pressure of fragmentation, and the failure mode under higher impact load is crushing failure.The results of sieving and grading of rock samples after impact show that the larger the impact load is, the smaller the fragmentation is.
