Abstract
In order to reveal the bearing characteristics and failure mechanism of layered rock roadway under the condition of high stress, physical similarity simulation tests are established, and combing with the means of high-speed camera, static resistance strain gauge and displacement gauge, the deformation and failure characteristics and stress evolution law of layered rock roadway under different support modes are systematically studied.From the angle of pressure arch, the arching characteristics of layered rock roadway are also analyzed.The results show that under the condition of no support, the surrounding rock of roadway is seriously deformed and can not form an effective pressure arch structure.When bolt or cable support is adopted, the stress state of surrounding rock of roadway is improved, effective pressure arch can be formed, and the deformation of surrounding rock decreases.The research results can provide a basis for roadway support design under similar geological conditions.
