Dynamic simulation and prediction of mine inflow considering mining progress in northern area of Xinjiang

    • In order to accurately simulate and forecast the mine water inflow of No.1 mining area in northern Xinjiang in the process of mining, using the groundwater numerical simulation software GMS to carry on the three-dimensional modeling simulation to the mine based on the geological exploration data.Combined with the mining plan and the mining schedule, the dynamic water inflow in the mining period (10 years) is simulated and compared with the calculation of water inflow by big well method and the measured mine water inflow. The results show that when start mining the new working face, the groundwater level should be rapidly reduced to the safe mining height in the initial stage of mining, so the water inflow is large, and then gradually decreases to a stable level with the hydrophobic stability in the later stage. With the continuous expansion of mining face and mining depth, the total water inflow in the mining area increases year by year.In the transition to the new mining area, due to the decrease of safe mining height, the water inflow increases greatly in the short term, and then tends to be stable with the advance of mining.According to the final calculation, the simulated water inflow considering the mining progress is 211 m3/d in the north 1 mining area, 613 m3/d in the north 2 mining area and 563 m3/d in the north 3 mining area. The maximum error between the calculated value and the measured water inflow is 7.58%.And the maximum errors of calculation water inflow without considering the mining schedule and calculation water inflow with big well method are 17.37% and 23.23%.The results show that calculation water inflow considering the mining schedule is more accurate and reasonable.
