Model test of roadway surrounding rock deformation by digital image correlation method

Abstract
A digital image correlation technology (DIC)-based mine model roadway surrounding rock deformation monitoring and analysis system is established, and the deformation of the model specimen of the straight wall semi-circular arched roadway under uniaxial vertical compression load is carried out by using the system.The two-dimensional (2D-DIC) and three-dimensional (3D-DIC) monitoring are used to analyze the in-plane deformation and off-plane displacement of the specimen, and the influence of the off-plane displacement of the specimen on the 2D-DIC in-plane deformation measurement is revealed.The results show that the 3D-DIC technology is more accurate when monitoring the deformation of the model.When using the 2D-DIC technique, the off-plane displacement of the specimen should be avoided or reduced.The research enriches the test methods of roadway model in the laboratory, and has guidance and reference value for the application of digital image correlation test technology in physical model test.
