Abstract
Aiming at the deformation character of high ribs in soft coal seam, the failure mechanism and the solutions of high ribs were analyzed based on the coal seam conditions in Shangshe coal mine in Yangquan.Shear failure happened under unbalanced stress and different stiffness of roof and ribs of roadway in soft coal seam, forming shearing zone in four corners.The concentration of shear stress and plastic zone were both decreased after cable supporting with high pretensioned stress.According to function characteristics of grouting reinforcement, supporting technology of grouting-cable with high pretensioned stress was proposed.Underground test shows:the supporting technology of grouting-cable with high pretensioned stress could control the large deformation of high ribs in soft coal seam, improve the stability of surrounding rock, and supporting effect was favorable.
