Research on tourism development strategy of coal resource-exhausted city transformation: empirical analysis based on SWOT-AHP method

In the background of leisure consumption, the tourism industry become an effective measure and route to achieve the industrial restructuring and sustainable development for resource-exhausted cities.Taking the tourism development strategic choice of resource-exhausted city Xuzhou as the target layer, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as the criteria layer, 16 factors including the obvious advantages of tourism location, rich in tourism resources, Huaihai economic zone center city development opportunity as the indicator layer, this paper takes SWOT-AHP method to determine the factor weights and quantify the qualitative indicators, determined SO strategy for the tourism development in Xuzhou city.Comprehensive consideration on strategic types and attitude, Xuzhou city should choose the positive pioneering-strength strategy, and the “1234” tourism development ideas are put forwards as well as some countermeasures:one idea, two features, three grasps and four focused points.We hope it could provide the certain reference value to the transformation of the resource-exhausted city and development of tourism industry in Xuzhou city.
