Study on mining green development index in China

The development of green mining in China has gone through a glorious course of more than ten years.The development of green mining and the building green mine have become the important direction and work focus of mineral resources management and mining development under the new situation.How to rationally evaluate the green development level of mining industry in China and measure the progress of the green development of mining is of great significance to guide the green development and transformation of mining.This paper discusses the concept of mining green development index, constructs the mining green development index system composed of 4 sub-indexes and 17 specific indicators, and studies the index calculation model.Based on the index system and calculation model, the green development level of mining industry in China from 2010 to 2016 was calculated, and the evolution trend of sub-index and total index was analyzed.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the mining green development from the aspects of resource conservation, environmental friendliness, transformation and development, safety and harmony, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.Through the index calculation and analysis to provide decision-making supports for promoting the green development of mining industry.
