Reasonable location determination and surrounding rock controlof deep well gob roadway

    • In view of the characteristics of large stress on coal pillars, serious deformation of roadway surrounding rock and waste of resources caused by large width of coal pillars in deep shaft and high-in-situ stress mine, 21214 working face of Maidizhang coal industry is taken as the research background to understand the position and size of lateral stress peak on working face through in-situ stress test and borehole stress test.Through field measurement and analysis, the lateral stress peak value is about 43 MPa, which is located about 17 m away from the roadway side.Based on theoretical calculation and numerical simulation, the deformation and failure characteristics of surrounding rock during excavation and mining, determination of reasonable size of narrow coal pillar and surrounding rock control of roadway along gob are studied. The results show that the coal pillar width is 6.5 m of roadway surrounding rock stability is good, early excavation, the surrounding rock deformation and deformation rate is bigger, after gradually decreases, and tunneling effect period for 15 days, because the small coal pillar side during the period of stoping support strength is greater than the face side, the side of the small coal pillar deformation is less than the deformation of the face side, the maximum deformation of 110 mm and 248 mm respectively, both in the controllable range.
