Evaluation method and application of water-rich of clastic rock aquifer in mining seam roof

    • Clastic aquifers such as sandy (conglomerate) rocks are widely developed in coal-bearing strata. It constitutes a direct aquifers for mining coal seams, and its water-filled strength has a direct impact on the water-rich strength of the mine. Therefore, the water-rich evaluation of clastic aquifer has become the basic work of mine water disaster prevention and control.Taking Gaozhuang coal mine as an example, two indexes of rock structure and geological structure are selected as the controlling factors of water-rich of clastic rock aquifers. The lithological structure coefficient is proposed to quantify the lithology and its combination relationship of coal-bearing strata, and fractal theory is introduced to quantitatively evaluate the complexity of geological structures. On this basis, an aquifer water-rich evaluation model is established.According to the data of water inrush from the existing working face in the mine, the threshold of aquifer water-rich zoning and its grading criteria are determined, and a prediction method for water-rich of clastic rock aquifers has been formed. The research results have been applied to water-rich prediction of roof sandstone aquifer in 3coal seam under Huxia in Gaozhuang coal mine, and good effects have been achieved.
