Study on the development model of integrated coal mining and gas extraction in Shanxi province

In consequence of symbiotic relationship between CBM and coal resources, and the different time of the establishment of its rights, it comes into being many overlapping blocks and large overlapping area in Shanxi province.In order to realize the orderly connection of CBM production and coal mining, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of coal and CBM mining owners, dealing with the dispute over the overlap area of CBM and coal mining rights normatively.This paper analyzes and compares the existing development model of integrated of coal mining and gas extraction such as “Jincheng mode” “Sanjiao mode” “China United Coalbed Methane and Yangquan Coal Company Limited model”, some reference opinions have been provided for the coal and CBM companies cooperation and development. It plays a practical guiding role in solving the dispute of mineral rights and improving the efficiency of comprehensive utilization of resources from the cooperation mode, mining sequence, safeguard measures and so on.
