Abstract
In 2021, the world economy will gradually recover after experiencing a free-fall decline in 2020, but the uncertainty brought about by the COVID-19 epidemic still exists.Global spending on exploration and development is expected to grow after two consecutive years of decline, Australia and Africa are still two hot spots for mineral exploration. Both demand for bulk minerals and rare & precious metals will rise simultaneously, and deficits of rare earths and scattered metals will enlarge further. The financing conditions have improved, and risk control is still urgent for mining companies. The essential role of the mining industry is further consolidated, but green development faces new challenges.
