Mineral processing production of non-ferrous metal mines are the focus of mining enterprise management.The analysis of mineral processing production and operations management mode are helpful to find the problems and improvement methods in production management, and are of great significance to improve production efficiency and quality.Combined with the type and characteristics of non-ferrous metal mineral processing production, with the modern production and operations management methods, this paper makes an in-depth analysis on the methods of production and operations management of non-ferrous metal mineral processing from six aspects:demand and production prediction, comprehensive production planning, production operation planning and control, inventory management, production resource consumption and planning management and production quality management.It is found that the methods of mineral processing production and operations management are relatively extensive at present, there is a lack of informatization in many links, the statistical period of production data is long, the flow of management information is not smooth, and the work-site production decision-making mainly depends on people.The group company can not grasp the production situation in real time and can not effectively implement the collaborative management of the industrial chain.However, under the background of the further development of information technology, there is space for improvement in the production and operations management of mineral processing.A future mineral processing production and operations management conception is made from the perspectives of mining group, concentrator and production process.It is stated that the production and operations management efficiency could be improved due to IT architecture of “cloud-edge”, integration of value-chain, upgrading of factory-level informatization and innovation of mineral processing technology.
