    Progress of hydraulic punching technology for relieving pressure and enhancing permeability in China

    • With the rapid change of science and technology, hydraulic punching technology, one of the effective measures to improve extraction efficiency in high gas and low permeability coal seam, has developed rapidly, but it has also encountered unprecedented challenges.This paper briefly reviews the development course of hydraulic punching technology, systematically introduces the technical principle and field application of new technologies, such as drilling and punching integration, hydraulic fracturing and hydraulic punching combined penetration, hydraulic punching and pre-cracking combined penetration, summarizes and analyzes the key problems in this field, and makes a preliminary discussion on the next research direction.This paper shows that multi-field coupling experiment, influence radius measurement, integrated drilling and cutting promotion and joint penetration should be the key points and difficulties in future research and exploration.
