Two phase reserves analysis of multi-type ore storage yard based on UAV aerial survey technology

    • Dabaoshan open-pit mine ore storage yard has the characteristics of many kinds and different grades, and manual measurement is time-consuming, labor-consuming and difficult.Based on the situation, the DJI Phantom 4RTK small quadrotor UAV with high-definition single lens is adopted, the well-shaped low-altitude tilt photogrammetry scheme with relative altitude of 100 m and overlap rate of 80% has been formulated by field survey, and four image control points and two inspection points are arranged in the survey area. Two phases of high-definition image information are obtained, and the corresponding real 3D model are obtained through space three solution and model reconstruction of Context Capture software. The maximum error of X direction and Y direction are 14.05 cm and 8.40 cm respectively, and the mean square error is 2.59 cm, which showed that accuracy test meet the requirements of 1∶500 topographic map.By importing the two-stage model into IData software, the reserves of ore in different periods are obtained, and compared with the real value, the relative error is only 2.8%, which provides guarantee for the open-pit stope ore supply and distribution work. The practice shows that low-altitude UAV tilt photography technology is feasible in reserve calculation of ore storage yard.
