Analysis and strategy research on the development of mining villages and towns during the transition period:taking Mentougou district as an example

In the development process of mining villages and towns, due to the excessive development of resources, single industrial structure, extensive production mode and lagging environmental protection, they are facing with multiple pressures of resource exhaustion, ecological fragility and green development after experiencing the germination period, growth period, maturity period and recession period.It is an inevitable tendency for mining villages and towns to achieve sustainable development to seek suitable transformation path and development mode.How to make the mining villages and towns transform successfully and realize the sustainable development of economy is an urgent problem to be studied and solved.Taking Mentougou district as an example, this paper uses remote sensing and geographic information technology to sample the research area, and combines the methods of literature research and field research to make a quantitative analysis on the industrial structure, infrastructure, spatial planning, resource consumption, ecological environment and talent innovation of mining villages and towns in the transformation period, and summarizes the existing problems in the development process.The management ideas and transformation strategies are expected to provide reference and basis for the sustainable development of mining villages and towns in the transformation period.
