    Study on the application of slotted cartidge in open air controlled blasting

    • In order to solve the problem that the traditional pre-split blasting and smooth blasting technology cannot meet the requirements of high quality and high standard construction, the application of the slotted cartidge in slope pre-split blasting is studied according to the mechanism of the slotted cartidge.According to the site construction, the corresponding blasting parameters are designed, and the parameter optimization test of pre-splitting blasting is carried out, and the engineering application of pre-splitting blasting and traditional pre-splitting blasting are compared.The test results show that the blasting effect is better, which PVC pipe with 40 mm outer diameter and 36 mm inner diameter, 0.8 m slit length and 10 mm slit width is used as slit pipe for pre-splitting blasting of slit cartridge in the condition of medium hard rock and 90 mm diameter pre-hole.By compared with the traditional presplit blasting, slotted cartidge after presplit blasting crack width increases 1.12 times, pre-splitting surface roughness decreases by 52.8%, half hole rate increased by 21%, the peak vibration velocity is reduced by 29.02%, effectively reduce the blasting energy to keep the slope and the surrounding structure of the building damage, improve the quality of blasting construction.
