Study on development and protection of Qinghai Beishan National Geopark based on SWOT analysis

Beishan National Geopark has important geoscience research value and is one of the ecological education bases for the protection of mother river.SWOT analysis method is used to dynamically analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced in the process of park development and protection, so as to provide scientific reference for the development and protection of tourism resources.The park has a unique ecological environment, superior geographical location and rich geological heritage resources, which has laid a solid foundation for tourism development and popular science.At the same time, problems such as insufficient integration of tourism resources, lack of protection of geoparks and insufficient excavation of geoscience and culture have become increasingly prominent in the process of development.Under the current new situation of tourism development, the tourism industry has entered a new era, geoscience tourism has been newly advocated, new ideas have been put forward for rural revitalization, and new opportunities have been ushered in.It is also facing new challenges such as the contradiction between the protection and development of geoparks, the renewal and iteration of tourism market, and the diversification of geopark audience groups.Under the current background of the times and on the premise of ensuring sustainable development, establish and improve the infrastructure service facilities and management system, standardize the construction of geoparks, improve tourism supporting facilities and scenic spot services, develop high-quality geological popular science tourism routes, build a rural revitalization demonstration area, and help the new development of Beishan National Geopark.
