    Stress distribution law of complex high-stress roadway in large dipping seam

    • Based on the occurrence conditions of large dipping seam in 1202 working face of Shanxi Dayuan Coal Industry Co., Ltd., this paper analyzes the stress distribution law of roadway under the superposition of lateral abutment pressure and advanced abutment pressure in goaf by using FLAC3D numerical simulation software; based on the stress analysis results, reasonable section coal pillar width is proposed.The results show that under the strong influence of superimposed pressure, the surrounding rock stress of roadway is asymmetric distribution, and the influence range of side concentrated stress is connected with the peak value of lateral abutment pressure of coal seam floor; the lateral abutment pressure becomes the main factor leading to the asymmetric distribution of advance abutment pressure in working face, and both of them produce strong stress superposition effect and form typical multiple disturbance superimposed stress environment.In order to reduce the stress asymmetry degree of roadway surrounding rock, and considering the sliding failure of coal pillar, roof and floor strata, it is suggested that the width of coal pillar in large dipping seam section of Shanxi Dayuan Coal Industry Co., Ltd.should be 6-12 m.
