Analysis of the global trade network of the tin metal resource industry chain

Tin, as a crucial mineral resource in developing strategic new industries in China, has important strategic value.In the context of economic globalization, every link of China’s tin trade chain needs to communicate between internal and external systems through international trade and other countries.Based on the global tin trade data in 2019, in view of China’s tremendous consumption demand for tin ore, starting from the trade exchange of tin, this paper divides the upstream, midstream and downstream commodity types of tin containing commodities, constructs a complex trade network of tin ore, and calculates the export, import, weighting and intermediary indicators of tin ore from three levels.The main conclusions are that most of the trade exchanges of tin products are concentrated in the middle and lower reaches of trade activities, and only a few countries participate in the trade circulation of upstream tin products.In 2019, China has strong control over the upstream, midstream and downstream product trade network of tin containing products.
