Study on constructing public participation mechanism for ecological restoration of abandoned mines in China

Due to the large number, large area and complex ownership relationship of abandoned mines in China, it is difficult for all stakeholders to coordinate in the implementation of ecological restoration projects, and group events occur from time to time.At present, public participation is only stipulated in the land reclamation of licensed mines, but it is only a formality.Therefore, the research on public participation in the field of ecological restoration of abandoned mines still needs to be strengthened.Firstly, this paper expounds the importance and necessity of constructing the public participation mechanism of ecological restoration of abandoned mines in China by summarizing the relevant work experience.Secondly, it discusses the practical basis of constructing the public participation mechanism of abandoned mine ecological restoration in China from two aspects of theory and practice, which shows that it is feasible to construct the public participation mechanism of abandoned mine ecological restoration in China.Finally, the public participation mechanism of ecological restoration of abandoned mines in China is preliminarily conceived from three aspects:the subject, scope and ways of public participation.
