Study on the influence of blasting mining activities of deep roadway on the stability of adjacent roadway

    • Taking the ore drawing roadway of an iron mine as the engineering background, aiming at the safety problems such as wall chipping and roof fall of adjacent roadway under the influence of blasting mining disturbance, FLAC3D numerical software is used to numerically simulate and analyze the variation characteristics of stress, displacement and plastic zone of surrounding rock of adjacent roadway under self weight stress and blasting load.It is compared with the field measured vibration data. The results show that compared with the self weight stress state, the maximum horizontal displacement, maximum tensile stress and plastic zone volume of surrounding rock of adjacent roadway under the influence of blasting load have increased to a great extent, with an increase of 68.2%, 58.6% and 76.5% respectively, indicating that the probability of instability and failure of adjacent roadway has increased significantly.Blasting mining has the greatest impact on the stability of the middle and upper surrounding rock of the vertical wall of the existing roadway, followed by the surrounding rock at the vault and wall foot, and has little impact on the surrounding rock away from the blasting source. In order to avoid the instability and damage of adjacent existing roadway caused by blasting, it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring and support of the dangerous parts such as the middle and upper part of the vertical wall of the existing roadway, and timely take effective support measures such as plain shotcrete or anchor mesh shotcrete for the areas with weak geological conditions area.
