Abstract
In order to control environmental pollution caused by coal dust during excavation operations effectively, through the combination of CFD software numerical simulation and similar experimental platform, the migration law and dust control performance of the pneumatic vortex jet air curtain velocity field are studied and analyzed.Research indicates that a stable air curtain is formed when the jet wind speed is 20-30 m/s.The jet wind speed decays rapidly along the flow direction with the diffusion distance.The exit jet wind speed has a higher decay rate law.Similarity experiment and numerical simulation have good similarity.The best dust control jet wind speed is 30 m/s, the total dust concentration of measuring point 1 is reduced from 433.9 mg/m3 to 161.4 mg/m3, the respiratory dust is reduced from 135.5 mg/m3 to 55.3 mg/m3, and measuring point 2 is reduced respectively 121.4 mg/m3 and 30.3 mg/m3.When the pneumatic vortex jet air curtain is used alone to control dust pollution on the tunneling face, its dust control performance is low.
