On February 24, 2022, Russia launched military operations against Ukraine, and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine broke out in an all-round way.This event had a great impact on the world’s politics, economy, finance, military, trade, industrial chain supply chain, energy supply and demand pattern, etc.Russia is rich in energy and minerals, it is an important energy producer and exporter in the world, and it is also an important node of energy cooperation under the “Belt and Road” initiative.Over the years, China and Russia have carried out in-depth cooperation in oil and gas, and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine will also affect the way of oil and gas cooperation between China and Russia to a certain extent.This paper mainly analyzes the energy supply situation of Russia and Ukraine, and explores the important impact on the world energy supply and demand pattern.By analyzing the current situation and prospects of China-Russia cooperation, the main enlightenment and policy suggestions are put forward, including to optimize the direction of overseas energy investment, to continue to increase domestic oil & gas exploration and development, to enter the upstream field of oil & gas in Russia.
