The electrolytic manganese industry develops rapidly and produces a lot of electrolytic manganese slag in recent years.If the electrolytic manganese slag accumulates for a long time, manganese, arsenic, ammonia nitrogen and other toxic and harmful substances contained in the leachate will cause serious pollution to the surrounding environment, threatening the life safety of surrounding residents.Based on the Web of Science Core Collection database, this paper analyzes and retrieves literatures related to the treatment and disposal of electrolytic manganese slag published from January 1, 2008 to October 27, 2021.A total of 113 academic papers are obtained after excluding irrelevant literatures.CiteSpace.6.1.R3 software is used for literature metrology visualization analysis, knowledge map is drawn, and the research status and development trend of electrolytic manganese slag treatment and disposal since 2008 are summarized and analyzed.The results show that the treatment and disposal of electrolytic manganese slag can be roughly divided into two directions:resource recovery and harmless treatment.In the direction of resource treatment and disposal, building materials industry consumes the largest amount of electrolytic manganese slag, which has high economic and technical feasibility and broad application prospects.It is also the development trend of electrolytic manganese slag treatment and disposal industry in the future.
