Analysis of mining investment environment in Kyrgyzstan under the new situation

Kyrgyzstan bordering with Southern Xinjiang of China, is an important node in the Belt and Road Initiative.Kyrgyzstan is located in the Tianshan Orogenic Belt and is extremely rich in mineral resources, such as gold, antimony, mercury, tin, tungsten, copper and uranium.Kyrgyzstan is also an important target country for Chinese enterprises, bilateral cooperation enjoys huge potential.However, under the background of COVID-19 and the change of government, mining investment environment in Kyrgyzstan has changed.This paper describes the mineral resources in Kyrgyzstan, summarizes the current situation of mining economy development and investment environment in Kyrgyzstan, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of mining investment in Kyrgyzstan under the new situation.Suggestions for enterprise cooperation are given.It is concluded that Chinese enterprises should seize the favorable period of the new policies after the end of COVID-19 and pay close attention to the changes in mining policies in Kyrgyzstan.Strengthen the communication with the early go-global enterprises, combine with geological exploration companies and relevant scientific research institutes, give full play advantages, improve the feasibility of investment projects.
