In order to reduce the unsafe behavior of miners caused by work pressure, the error management climate is introduced as an intermediary variable. From the perspective of intergenerational differences, the internal influence mechanism of error management climate on the work pressure and unsafe behavior of new and old generations of miners is explored, and the hypothesis model of miners’ work pressure-multidimensional error management climate-unsafe behavior is constructed.Through the investigation, 284 valid questionnaires are obtained, SPSS software and AMOS software are used to test the mediating effect and moderating effect to verify the hypothesis model. The results show that error learning, error correction, error thinking and error communication can significantly affect miners’ work stress and behavior, among which error communication has the greatest impact.Error management climate is an important mediating variable to alleviate stress level and reduce the occurrence of miners’ unsafe behavior. The regulation of intergenerational differences is obvious; under the same working pressure level, the older generation of miners’ ability to correct the difference is better than the new generation of miners; the new generation of miners error thinking, error learning and error communication is better than the older generation of miners.Creating a positive error management atmosphere in line with the characteristics of new and old miners in coal mining enterprises can effectively alleviate the work pressure of miners and reduce the probability of unsafe behavior.
