Distribution characteristics of soil elements in Boshan District, Shandong Province

Based on the calculation and study of the background values of soil elements in Boshan District,Shandong Province,the surface soil geochemical characteristics parameters of 28 indexes, such As N, I, V, F, Cd, Cr, Hg, Co, K, P, Mn, Mo, Ni, B, Pb, As, Cu, Se, Zn, Ge, Sb, Fe and organic matter, were counted. The distribution characteristics, enrichment and dilution of soil elements were found out, and the differences between soil elements and similar parameters in China and the whole province were analyzed. The results show that the content of Mn, F, P, Sr is high, but Hg is low. The contents of most elements in surface soil inherit the composition characteristics of soil parent material, but Cd, Cr, Hg and other elements are obviously enriched in surface soil by human activities and pollution sources. The soil environmental quality in the region is generally good, and the distribution of some heavy metal elements is controlled by the geological background, and the contaminated plot area is small. The study area is rich in Se, Zn, Ge and other elements, and the characteristic land resources have a good development prospect.
