Seismic dynamic time-history response analysis of a tailings pond in north-west region

The tailings pond is a major source of danger. As one of the important factors affecting its stability, earthquakes are of great significance to study the response characteristics of tailings ponds under seismic dynamics. In this paper, the time-history method is used to calculate the earthquake of a tailings pond in north-west region, and on this basis, the stability analysis is carried out. The research shows that the tailings pond has good seismic performance and the stability meets the requirements, and also provides a reference for the subsequent design and calculation.
