    ANALYSIS ON THE ADVANTAGES OF EMULSION EXPLOSIVE ON-SITE MIXING TECHNOLOGY IN EXCAVATION BLASTING

    • Excavation blasting is widely used in tunnel and mine drift operations. At present, the charging mode of blastholes is mainly manual. The introduction of on-site mixing technology of emulsion explosives can improve the mechanization and automation level of blasting operations, reduce labor intensity and operating personnel. In this paper, combined with the characteristics of on-site mixing technology, the application advantages of this technology in excavation blasting are analyzed in terms of the adjustment of explosive energy release, cost reduction and efficiency increase, energy saving and environmental protection. It also summarizes and prospects the intelligent development trend of on-site mixing equipment.
