    Chharacteristics and prospection direction of crystalline graphite deposits in central and western Inner Mongolia

    • The central and western Inner Mongolia has a superior crystalline graphite mineralization environment.This paper relies on the “Crystalline graphite Exploration Project of Chagangaolmiao, Wulat Middle Banner, Bayannaoer city, Inner Mongolia" of No.208,Bureau of Geology,CNNC, Geological and environmental Survey Institute”.By analyzing the regional geological background、crystalline graphite research status and deposit distribution of the Jining block to Alashan block,the geological characteristics of typical ore deposits are analyzed.In this paper, the evolution law of deposit is summarized and the characteristics of fixed carbon content、isotopic characteristics、microscopic morphology and laser Raman spectrum were studied.The metallogenic regularities of the study area are summarized.It is pointed out that the distribution of crystalline graphite deposits is not completely controlled by the kongzi rock series, the metamorphic degree is not necessarily related to the scale of resource reserves, and the source of ore-forming materials is organic matter.The concept of regional metamorphic - contact metamorphic deposit is put forward.It is recommended to separate the types.It is pointed out that the new prospective area and target area are favorable for crystalline graphite prospecting.
