Abstract
As a utilization mode of mineral resources, the economical and intensive utilization of mineral resources fully and rationally use mineral resources with the most effective manpower, material and financial investment as well as the lowest environmental cost, so the maximum utilization benefits can be generated to satisfy the demands of economy and society. The construction of the evaluation index system of mineral resources" economical and intensive utilization level of metal mines is conducted through data collection, comprehensive analysis and field investigation of 23 typical metal mines in China. The calculation of the weight of corresponding index items is made in line with the constructed index system. The level of mineral resources’ economical and intensive utilization is evaluated and verified by selecting two typical metal mines, and the scientific rationality of the evaluation index system is discussed. From the results, it indicates that the evaluation of the economical and intensive utilization level of metal mines through the constructed evaluation index system can find out the problems existing in the economical and intensive utilization of mineral resources in mines, mining enterprises and other units in time. Based on this, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions can be provided for the improvement of the comprehensive utilization level of mineral resources. However, a large number of problems have been faced by the supervision of metal mines, such as many kinds of minerals, large amount of mine information, complexity and strong professionalism. Many aspects of information such as mine geology, reserves, mining and selection, economy and environmental protection are involved in the evaluation indexes. At present, the supervision system for the economical and intensive utilization of mine mineral resources is still absent, which causes a weak data base for the economical and intensive utilization of mines. As a result, the popularization and application of the evaluation index system are restricted to a certain extent.
