Abstract
The forth flotation image analysis system, which mainly relies on image processing technology, converts the image information into continuous and real-time analyzable measurement data through non-contact measurement of flotation in the flotation process. It can improve the online detection level of the beneficiation process, and provide high-precision data support for the intelligent improvement of the production process. With the continuously improvement of the system, the integrated measurement based on the embedded system provides strong technical support for the system. It will break the traditional image processing workstation mode, and adopt the wireless transmission mode for the online transmission of images and data. However, the compression and data synchronization of high-frame-video is the biggest problem to be solved of the embedded forth flotation image analysis system. With the comprehensively study of image compression and video transmission algorithms, this paper use using two-dimensional integer DCT transform to compress the forth flotation image, and then the small video stream is encoded through the inter frame difference algorithm. Finally, RTP protocol is used for streaming transmission, and the received data and image stream are displayed on the installed browser. The research of embedded forth flotation system will completely replace the original image processing workstation function, also can greatly reduce the equipment failure rate and cost. It will provide stable and efficient data support for flotation intelligent control.
