    Development and application of advanced process control system for Zinc Leaching Slag Melting Furnaces

    • In this paper, we introduce the system of intelligent factory construction of lead and zinc smelting, taking the melting furnace as the research object, by analyzing the chemical reaction mechanism in the smelting process, and establishing a mathematical relationship according to the law of conservation of elements and The Law of Geiss. Using Python high-level programming language, Web technology, and database technology as tools, we complete the development and deployment of advanced process control systems, and complete the calculation of phase composition and thermal balance of materials through iterative optimization algorithms. According to the target value set by the melting furnace, enter the material elements, moisture and other parameters, calculate the appropriate flux addition, fuel and oxygen-enriched air, and then send the DCS system through the OPC server, and then execute after confirmation. Solves the problem that the operation of the melting furnace is dependent on labor and the operation is not timely, and it is adjusted in real time according to the material data of different batches, which is more conducive to stabilizing the operation of the furnace and saving energy consumption.
