Study on geological characteristics of wangmengzhuang iron mine in Qian

    • The wangmengzhuang iron mine in Qian"an City, Hebei Province is located in the southeast of the Sino Korean paraplatform Yanshan platform fold belt Malanyu anticline Zunhua dome fold bundle, and its southeast side is adjacent to Shanhaiguan platform arch. It is located in the composite zone of the East-West complex structural belt and the Yanshan structural system, and the basement structure is a complex compact fold. The ore body occurs in the biotite hornblende plagiogneiss, migmatite biotite hornblende plagiogneiss, migmatite and migmatite of the first member of santunying formation of the Qianxi group of the Archaean. The ore body is bedlike and lenticular, and its occurrence is basically the same as that of the surrounding rock. The ore minerals of the deposit are relatively simple, and the protolith formation should be dominated by basic lava and intermediate acid volcanic eruption with sedimentary debris and siliceous iron rock. The genesis of the deposit is due to the submarine volcanic eruption, carrying a large amount of ferrosilicon and mineralization in the form of deposition. Later, ferrosilicon was enriched by regional metamorphism. Therefore, wangmengzhuang iron ore deposit is a metamorphic sedimentary iron deposit - an iron deposit formed by metamorphic ferrosilicon, commonly known as Anshan type iron ore deposit.
