Abstract
The geological relics landscape in Quanzhou County have abundant landscape resources, diverse types and distinctive features, which are crucial for the county to develop geological tourism to eradicate poverty. Combined with the regional geological background of the county, based on detailed field geological surveys, this paper divides the types of typical geological relics landscape in the county. Systematically analyzes their landscape features, and investigates the geoscience significance of the geological relics landscape from the perspective of geological tourism development and utilization. The results show that the typical geological relics landscapes in Quanzhou County are mainly evolved from Devonian and Carboniferous carbonate rocks, as well as Caledonian acid granite. Since the Silurian period, the tectonic framework in the county mainly underwent four periods that granite formation, tectonic framework formation, fault subsidence basin formation, and modern landform formation. The county has a total of 30 typical geological relics landscapes, which are divided into two large classes, four classes, and seven sub-classes according to relevant technical requirements. The tectonic relics, mining relics, water relics, and landform relics in the county have prominent characteristics. The geological relics landscapes in the county have important tourism geological research significance infields of tectonics, geomorphology, tourism, and environics. The research results of this paper provide a reference for understanding typical geological relics landscapes in Quanzhou County, and for scientifically and rationally carrying out geological tourism in the county.
