Geological maps,as one of the final expressions of geological survey are used widely,by the characteristics of strong cognitive ability,rich expression content,convenient application.In order to meet the increasingly vigorous application needs of geological maps in emerging fields such as ecological protection,engineering construction and agriculture in the new development stage,and adapt to the development of new information technologies such as big data,cloud computing and mobile Internet,it is very necessary to establish new technologies,new processes and new processes for the geological map compilation.Based on this,proposes the framework of the geological map incremental renewal of the "integration of map and database".Firstly,based on the new design concept of geological data incremental updating,the geological map can be updated on demand and rapidly.Secondly,combining geological big data technology and intelligent mapping software methods to strengthen the ability of integrated geological data aggregation and comprehensive extraction of geological information.Thirdly,using representation cartographic system to expand intelligent mapping technology and enhance the effect of geological map representation.Fourthly,realizing the integrated storage and synchronous update of original geological data and geological map results through the "integration of map and database" technology.The construction of geological map updating technology system has important practical significance for timely and rapid provision of geological maps,improvement of geological map production efficiency and reduction of geological map production cost.
