Application of various geophysical methods in the prevention and control of coal mining face

    • During the mining process of coal mining working face, the water damage of roof and floor, the geological structure of the coal seam and the rock formation of the roof and floor of the mining coal seam are likely to cause serious accidents such as gas outburst and water damage. For the safe and efficient production of coal mines, it is necessary to detect the water content of the roof of the working face and the geological structure of the roof and the interior of the working face.Taking the 12407 working face of a mine in Shendong as an example, the roof and the interior of the working face are detected by three working face geophysical exploration methods:audio frequency electric penetration method, tunnel radio wave perspective method and transient electromagnetic method. The water-rich roof and geological structure of the mining face are explored by the combination of audio frequency electric penetration method and transient electromagnetic method; geological structure. The detection results of the three geophysical methods are compared, analyzed, verified and summarized, and the water richness and geological structure of the roof and interior of the 12407 working face are effectively probed. The three geophysical exploration methods have simple construction, high construction efficiency, and complementary detection results, effectively delineating the location and scope of geological anomalies, providing a reliable basis for safe and efficient production and disaster prevention in coal mines.
