Abstract
The study area of northwest Jiaodong coastal zone is more than 70% covered by Quaternary system, the mineralization information is shielded and weakened.Making it more difficult to find new ore bodies.According to the analysis and study, the tectonic framework in the region appears from north to south in an alternating pattern of basin-ling-basin.Under the control of the tectonic framework, the coal, gold and iron mines in the region are produced in a latitudinal zonation pattern of “north coal, middle gold and south iron” from north to south.The coal mines are mainly produced in the Paleogene Wutu Group strata in the north of the region, which belong to the sedimentary formation of lake river delta in which coal seam and oil shale are interbedded.The gold deposit is mainly produced in the Jurassic Linglong granite and Guojialing granite intrusive rock mass in the central part of the region, which is the product of large-scale magmatic activity and extensive extensional detachment.The iron ore is mainly produced in the iron bearing rock series of Xiaosong Formation of Palaeoproterozoic Meizishan Group in the southern part of the region.It is a sedimentary metamorphic iron deposit closely related to regional metamorphism.The submarine bedrock deposit in the study area is not an independent deposit, but connected with the terrestrial deposit, which is a part of the terrestrial deposit extending to the ocean along with the geological structure.By studying the distribution law of bedrock and the distribution law of bedrock deposits covered by the Quaternary system, and summarizing the genetic regularity of bedrock deposits in the coastal zone, it is of great significance to strengthen the prospecting pertinency of key metallogenic areas, guide and promote the regional prospecting progress in the northwest coastal zone of Jiaodong, and realize the close combination of production, university and research.
