Analysis on ore-body characteristics and ore quality of Wohushan basalt in Changle, Shandong Province

The Wohushan basalt in Changle is produced in Yaoshan Formation of Linqu Group in Cenozoic Era, lithology is mainly olivine basalts, it is a high quality raw material for the production of building stone. On the basis of collecting and analyzing the previous regional geological exploration data, the ore-body characteristics, ore quality and mining technical conditions of the Wohushan basalt mine in Changle are analyzed by means of drilling and rock testing. The Wohushan basalt meets the Class I standard in the current building stone exploration code, and belongs to the ore deposit with medium mining technical conditions mainly due to environmental geological problems.
