Research on the problem and countermeasures of delineating the spatial scope of mining rights in open-pit mines

    • The exploration, development and utilization of mineral resources is a complex system engineering, and the delineation of the spatial scope of mining rights, as an important link in this system, often unable to attract enough attention. In recent years, China’s mining management reform has intensified, policies and systems have gradually improved, and the mining order has made significant improvements. However, some open-pit mines have many problems that can easily lead to illegal mining and safety hazards when delineating the spatial scope of mining rights, which has become one of the major obstacles affecting and restricting the efficient utilization and management of mineral resources. In order to improve the rationality and scientificity of the delineation of the spatial scope of mining rights in open-pit mines, and to solve the problems and contradictions in the delineation of the spatial scope of mining rights, this study uses a combination of on-site research, literature analysis, and empirical analysis to deeply analyze the common problems in the delineation of the spatial scope of mining rights. Based on this, relevant suggestions for the delineation of the spatial scope of mining rights in open-pit mines are proposed, it can provide reference for the delineation of the spatial scope of mining rights, as well as scientific decision-making for relevant government departments.
