Geochemical characteristics of the Songmuzhuang iron deposit in Eastern Hebei Province and its geological significance

Sedimentary metamorphic iron ore is the most important type of iron ore in eastern Hebei Province, and the Songmuzhuang iron deposit is a typical representative of this type. In this work, major elements, trace elements and rare earth elements are tested to restore the ore-forming environment of Songmuzhuang iron mine and analyze its mineral sources. The results show that the main components of this type of iron ore are TFe₂O₃ and SiO₂, and a small amount of terrigenous clastic rock is added, and the ore-forming material comes from the mixture of hot water and seawater.
