Quality management of geological exploration project and development of new quality productive forces

Geological exploration is characterized by highly exploratory, high risk, long cycle, complex management nature, and diverse work methods. As China’s economy enters a stage of high-quality development, new requirements have been put forward for the geological exploration industry. In the current new situation of geological exploration, it is necessary to establish a complete set of scientific, efficient, and rigorous quality systems to ensure the quality and results of geological. Accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces, exploration projects and promote the high-quality development of geological exploration work. This paper starts with strengthening the quality management of geological exploration projects. By studying the basic concepts of quality management of geological exploration projects and new quality productive forces, it analyzes the characteristics of the supervision work of the Central Geological Exploration Fund project, expounds the necessity of strengthening internal quality control and external quality supervision in geological exploration projects to create new quality productive forces. It explores the problems of difficulty in managing exploration work, lack of professional talents, lack of quality management in exploration projects, and inadequate management mechanisms in quality management of geological exploration project. Based on the current situation of geological exploration work, specific proposals are put forward from two aspects: internal quality control and external quality supervision of geological exploration projects. Firstly, to establish a sound internal quality control system; secondly, to train geological talents with strong technical ability of complex specialty, which meet the requirements of the development of new quality productive forces; thirdly, both internal and external quality management measures, to jointly promote the level of quality management; fourthly, to improve the system of professional geologists as soon as possible to establish and implement a new mechanism that emphasizes both quality management incentives and constraints. Through above measures, it will further improve the quality management of geological exploration projects, promote the high-quality completion of exploration tasks, to promote the development of new quality productive forces in geological exploration.
