Abstract
Postgraduate education and training is an important way for the cultivation of national innovative talents, and an important source of national innovation and creativity. Geoscience is a basic discipline that supports the development of the national economy, but due to its discipline characteristics, there are problems such as weak sense of innovation and insufficient innovation ability in the training of graduate students in geoscience. According to the spirit of the national conference on graduate education, a postgraduate training model of “one core, three elements and multiple dimensions” is proposed, that is, with graduate students as the core, the school, society and family are coordinated and co-managed, and the postgraduate training model with the five-dimensional development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, art and labor. It has established a “mentoring ideological and political” system for graduate students with horizontal coverage of “management teachers-full-time teachers-experimental teachers” and a “mentor-doctor-master” longitudinal and comprehensive graduate student “guidance and research innovation” model, realized the five-dimensional postgraduate training model of “infiltration of geoscience culture and tempering of geoscience projects”, and cultivated a group of innovative geoscience scientific research backbones with family and country feelings, and achieved certain practical results.
