Detection of hidden disaster causes in coal mines based on ground transient electromagnetic and unmanned aerial vehicle infrared sensing

    • Coal mining is susceptible to the influence of hidden disaster causes, which can easily trigger the five major disasters in mines. Therefore, it is necessary to comprehensively detect the hidden disaster causes in coal mines. In order to improve the efficiency of detection, based on the analysis of hidden disaster causes, this paper has arranged the physical workload of future mining areas, with a focus on using high-efficiency technologies such as ground transient electromagnetic and unmanned aerial vehicle infrared sensing detection, as well as supplementary testing methods to detect goaf and hidden fire areas. The detection results indicate that 13 low resistance anomalies, totaling 199 300 square meters, have been identified in the future mining area by transient electromagnetic waves on the ground. The temperature range in the well field ranges from −24 ℃ to 8 ℃, with high temperature areas mainly distributed in the western part of the measurement area and the surrounding areas in the northwest and southwest. Based on field investigations, no potential fire areas are found. This study provides a reference for the detection of hidden disaster causes in related mines.
