Study on 3D solid modeling in a copper mine by multi-source data fusion

    • Using 3Dmine 3D modeling software combined with geological data, engineering survey data, map vector data and other multi-source data fusion, a copper and metal mine multi-source information database is constructed, the 3D surface DTM model, orebody 3D model, structure model, lithology model, shaft and roadway engineering 3D model and orebody block model are established, the ore quantity, metal quantity and grade of orebody are estimated by power law of inverse distance method, and compared with the results obtained from Ore Reserve Verification Report. The practice shows that the results of grade, ore and metal quantity estimated by the model are reliable, and it can effectively show the visualization of 3D underground space, such as deep ore body, wall rock, fault, shaft and roadway engineering, etc., it also provides effective basis for prospecting design and mining design of deep deposit.
