Abstract
A modified resin based beryllium removal adsorbent material is prepared by chemical reaction precipitation method. The optimal preparation process is screened through conditional experiments: the resin is pretreated with nitric acid, and then a loading solution is prepared with metal salts aluminum chloride, maleimide, mercaptoethylamine, and ethanol. The resin is thoroughly stirred and mixed with the loading solution, and the pH value is adjusted by adding ammonia water. After heating treatment, the modified resin based beryllium removal adsorbent material is obtained by vacuum drying, and the beryllium removal rate could reach 98%. By characterizing the modified resin based beryllium removal adsorbent material, it is demonstrated that the carrier successfully loaded metal hydroxyl, imino, and thiol nanoparticles, and the specific surface area, average pore size, and total pore volume of the adsorbent material increased. The optimal deep treatment technology parameters for beryllium containing wastewater are determined through conditional experiments as adsorption filtration rate of 10 BV/h, raw water pH=8. Under the presence of interfering ions, the beryllium in the treated effluent can meet the requirements of standard.
