    Production design research on open pit mining of south ore body in Kuru Tegerek Gold and Copper Mine

    • In view of the fact that the original Micromine block model is not universal in Surpac, the Surpac format conversion analysis is carried out while retaining the original data unchanged, so as to achieve the purpose of complete and consistent data; rationally analyze factors such as ore body occurrence conditions to determine the optimal open-pit boundary; and establish an open-pit boundary block model with production guidance to accurately manage mining resources and improve resource mining utilization; and perform open-pit blasting design in Surpac software to optimize mining process flow. In actual production operations, the design applied to Surpac software has reduced ineffective operations in production, significantly improved economic benefits, and achieved remarkable results in overall control of resources and improvement of resource utilization.
