Abstract
The problem of goaf collapse caused by mining in China is very serious, posing a significant threat to the sustainable economic development and environmental protection of mining areas. This paper takes a certain metal mine as an example to reveal the formation mechanism and degree of danger of hazards caused by subsidence in goaf through the assessment of the current danger status and prediction. To address this issue, a series of comprehensive governance measures have been taken, including comprehensive filling and drainage treatment, parallel roof management and optimized mining strategies, geological hazard monitoring and prevention, anti-seepage and greening projects, etc. The governance measures have significantly improved the stability of the goaf, reduced the occurrence of collapse disasters, and promoted the restoration of the ecological environment, which can provide reference and guidance for the governance of similar geological hazards.
