    Prediction of water inflow in deep mining of metal mines based on hydrologic analogy method

    • The Northeast Yunnan lead zinc mining district is a crucial non-ferrous metal resource base in China. Influenced by multi-phase tectonic activities, this region exhibits complex hydrogeological structural characteristics, with deep mining operations facing significant water inrush risks. This paper takes the Huize Lead Zinc Mine, a typical deep mining site in large-water-inflow mines in Northeast Yunnan, as a case study. Based on a systematic analysis of the mine’s hydrogeological conditions and combined with dynamic variations in groundwater levels and water inflow characteristics of the Carboniferous-Devonian carbonate karst-fissure aquifers, the hydrogeological analogy method is employed to predict water inflow volumes for both direct and indirect water-filling aquifers in the Kuangshanchang and Qilinchang mining areas. The prediction results provide critical references for formulating water control measures during deep mining at the Huize Lead Zinc Mine, ensuring the safety and efficiency in deep resource exploitation.
