Abstract
In order to better assist China’s recycled metal smelting industry in achieving the “dual carbon” goal, this paper takes the recycled aluminum industry as the research object, conducts in-depth research on representative enterprises, obtains relevant carbon emission data, and systematically identifies key carbon emission nodes in the pyrometallurgical process of recycled aluminum. Meanwhile, by comparing and analyzing the carbon emission levels of different enterprises, the differences and optimization potential within the industry are revealed. Based on the research results, this paper proposes emission reduction suggestions for China’s recycled aluminum smelting enterprises, aiming to promote the active application of low-carbon technologies, implement low-carbon transformation, optimize energy and resource allocation, and further fulfill social responsibilities, providing scientific guidance for the industry’s green transformation and sustainable development.
